I don't think you can say that as a positive. We have just over 3 weeks until we kick off the season, with a really tough away day.
KMc has consistently spoke about the importance of bringing players in for pre season, to avoid them playing catch up as the season unfolds.
We've currently made 1 key signing, but likely to lose a big body blow in Morsy. We are a very long way away from being well balanced and settled for a very gruelling Championship season. |
Our transfer policy last season was largely to buy players who had excelled in the Championship. We'd have been competitive this season even if we hadn't added a single player due to the likes of Greaves, O'Shea, Palmer, Davis, Hirst, Sammy S etc.
We often wait to get our main targets and most clubs do their business late in the window because one move often depends on another. The Prem club players are still on holiday. |  |

Delap, definitely a miss but had intentions of leaving in January probably as he spent the last few months worrying about himself.
Tuanzebe, very good but injury prone.
