When watching the shoot-out, when the camera zoomed in on the penalty taker what struck me was how absolutely s**t scared most of the players looked. It was kind of obvious that most were going to miss - or was that just me? I’m not being critical as I wouldn’t want to be in that situation but at that level, I didn’t expect to see that so clearly.
Based on that performance, in order to win the tournament, England will need to up their game a lot.
When talking about the women’s side, why do people compare it to the men’s team? On one hand it’s a way to beat up the ‘overpaid’ men or as a way to look down on the lionesses. Just seems a bit strange to me. |  | | |
