Apparently the poster he was holding was just too much.

Can those Police actually read? Just because it contains the words "Palestine" and "Action" in a sentence, then he must be supporting them?

Poll: So what do we think will happen with MM and the Aston Villa job?

If nothing else it’s showing which police forces are complete tvvats. I’ve some sympathy though, as they’ve all been put in a difficult position by the stupendously stupid idea of Yvette Cooper to proscribe a peaceful protest group.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Have you seen the latest podcast from The Rest is Politics.
They discuss their reasoning in detail - it's 50 minutes long.
The first minute is an extract but expresses their opinion quite clearly.
This has been coming. They were anti-Hamas at the beginning and haven't shifted that position but are now firmly anti-Israeli Government.

Edit: The reason I'm posting this is because even sensible people are reaching the same conclusion that the protesters have - that this is indefensible and should be protested vehemently.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Once again, this is the fault of the government.

I think outside London, very few police really understand the distinction between various statements on Palestine.

We should all care about PALESTINE and take ACTION to show our disgust at Israel's genocidal murder.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jul/19/killing-of-young-siblings-at-gaza-

'In Gaza, being a helpful, loving child can be a death sentence. Heba al-Ghussain’s nine-year-old son, Karam, was killed by an Israeli airstrike because he went to fetch water for the family, and her 10-year-old daughter, Lulu, was killed because she went to give Karam a hand.

The siblings were waiting beside a water distribution station, holding jerry cans and buckets, when it was bombed last Sunday, killing six children and four adults and injuring 19 others, mostly children.'

The time to take action over Palestine has long since passed.

Given how widely the police are construing the law, it is for consideration whether merely objecting to the proscription of Palestine Action might be regarded by the police as support for Palestine Action.

There was actually - shock, horror - a report on BBC TV news last night that wasn't pro-Israel.

It was about how the remaining buildings in parts of Gaza are being blown-up, the land levelled and cleared - which is a war crime in itself, apparently.

I mean, obviously the Israelis government are going to build nice new houses and hospitals there....for the Palestinians to return to. A nice "welcome home" present, perhaps.

Will Israel be made to pay for the destruction of property and life once this is over (whatever that means).

I know they won't, but it's gonna cost someone tens of billions of dollars.

Poll: So what do we think will happen with MM and the Aston Villa job?
