"jimmy the giant" was pretty much humiliated by konstantin kisin on the triggernometry podcast (they've since taken it off youtube as the guy apologised afterwards)

He claims to be neutral but i'd say he's centre-right. I have found that over the last few years that listening to just left-wing media, or just right-wing media gives you a warped sense of perspective on issues, so i've found the triggernometry podcast on youtube that has guests from all over the spectrum quite a good balance.

Unfamiliar with this person you mention or the incident you talk of, but I do know Jimmy gets things wrong- he’s not afraid of acknowledging when he’s got things wrong, which is unsurprising seeing as he comes from a place where previously he was indoctrinated into far right ideology.

I’m not defending him (I don’t know who either of them are), but shouldn’t podcasters be interviewing experts rather than other podcasters? I’d listen to that, but don’t see the value of an interviewer’s views unless they’re also an expert in the subject. Or am I missing something? I probably am, as I rarely listen to podcasts.

Jimmy’s just a normal bloke with a YouTube channel and an interesting story, there’s a little gaggle of these creators, influencers and I guess politicians now? Who trying to drive change and reframe the conversation.

I don't know who Jimmythegiant is apart from the interview i saw. Apparently he was calling out people for grifting or something and kisin was one of those, so he invited him on explain what he meant and er, it didn't go well

Have found it here but reproduced by someone else. Ignore all the nonsense from the person who has reproduced it and ff to the conversation itself.

Totally valid, mate - I’m probably immersed in it somewhat more than your average 37 year old because of my job.

I think these chaps will be becoming quite mainstream soon though, Gary’s Economics arguably already is, he had a very successful book and was on Question Time I believe?
