Baffled by the games where he makes sweeping changes - makes no sense , 3-4 changes from Friday max? I’d have brought Azon in and probably benched Egeli, but 7 changes and dropping Philogene is just baffling - did the same v Bristol City , essentially just wasting games. I get we are in the era of “finishers” but I think you shouldn’t need “finishers” against Charlton at home , it shouldn’t be the mindset going into a game like that , possibly West Brom
Or a tougher game I can maybe get it more , but surely a game like tonight we want our in form player on and should be aiming for a comfortable lead by HT?
Organisation at the back seemed to go as soon as Palmer went off - the defending is inexcusable , all 3 of their goals soft (thought I can’t remember the first at this minute ) …. And midfield , yes Azor out but my god , no excuse .
We need to keep the same starting 11 going forward where we can , and let the “finishers” actually be established finishers , and maybe start bringing them on earlier ?
