Sensing differnt Championship to previous years? I think the competitive across the division is even higher. Parachute teams have advantage but investment from lower teams higher. Wrexham, Birmingham etc, brings bottom of division up. More competitive than ever. Different challenges for different teams. Lots of teams have good squad depth. See benefit of teams who have been together for a while, Coventry, for example. Competitive division. | | | |

My focus only on Ipswich. We all grow up as football supporters, have affinities with different clubs. Know the size of this club as well, when you're in a job no time to think about these things. Work here as if I'm going to be here forever. When arrived thought always going to be a long-term project. Lot of cranes etc outside here. I'll work as if I'm always going to be Ipswich manager - I won't be at some time I will move on - but can't let that get in the way of the day to day.
