According to my social circle, your preference for jam over lemon curd would suggest you have Gaelic/Catholic roots
As far as the Gael goes, my DNA analysis does not corroborate that. But Catholic roots ? I think everyone whose family tree indicates a presence in the British Isles before 1534 probably has them.
My apologies for mentioning Russell Martin, heat of the moment, I don't know what occurd...
Gutted a player of his quality is fit? He will come good, he's been here 5 minutes.
If he was playing as a striker i'd be looking forward to watching him, i just don't see his attributes working as our 10, neither he nor sammy suit it. Not about him being here 5 minutes, I just don't see his attributes suiting the role, it hasn't so far and I don't see it going forwards. I felt like i saw more passes and progression up the top end when nunez went into the 10 role, lots of nice 1-2's, passes being put in beyond the defensive line for azon to chase etc

Thought he was lively against Charlton until O'Shea's error and the collective implosion of the team that followed. Hit the bar, had a good headed chance, and generally linked play up and carried the ball well. He was also decent when he came on against WBA the other day before getting injured. He's still settling but there's no reason to think he won't come good.
I don't want to be that guy, and i dont wish injury on anyone but for that 10 role, im actually gutted akpoms back for saturday
he's just not a 10, not for us. a striker tho perhaps.
Agreed, no desire absolutely for Akpom to be injured but it would be useful for him to be unavailable for a few games so Nunez gets a run there
He sticks out like a sore thumb playing at 10, hes about as suited to the role as an O Shea or Furlong, he looks a 9 clear as day to me. If you're playing him as a 10 its in a 4-4-2.
We'll see, I just see a striker desperate to come out of his shell. His got the mobility for it, im craving to see him uptop
On his highlights clip posted at the time we signed him, the visual memory I have of him as an out and out striker is certainly the one that impressed & has stuck with me most.

He looked and looks like an absolute unit, whos strong, got good mobility and loves to get shots off,
i've also noticed that at times, he's playing alongside hirst so you could almost see he's desperation in being advanced.
Thing is, when you review his goals for boro, he loved getting into the box and scored many at it, our 10 really, for that Davis pull back, we want our 10 outside the box
Again, tho for me it's similar to Sammy S, for another club the 10 role is probably one he loves, but our needs are different for our 10.

On the ball he's looked the most natural footballer in our side to me, aside perhaps from Philogene. Szmodics and others bring different qualities and energy, but Akpom makes it look very easy at times. Reminds me a bit of McGoldrick.
It's surprising the ITFC don't put the presser at least on their YouTube channel. I get TownTV for the extra behind the scenes interviews from a revenue standpoint but most clubs at least give that weekly content.

Same for the U21's and U18's matches. Really odd that we don't show them.

He's always been more of a 9 to me to be fair
Doesn't make us right but I'd like to see us try it ...shame we#re not left in a poxy cup comp

We did until the promotion year, or maybe even that year we did until we promoted. It definately was watchable though
