You seem desperate to have a downer on the team today. I didn’t see it, so can’t say whether that’s justified or not. The 23/24 side didn’t play flowing football all the time either. There was a lot of grinding out of results through pure willpower (and fresh legs from a raft of subs). If you make the most of your moments, everyone forgets the less entertaining stuff in between. |  |

The only bit of any merit in three sentences was that the 2023 team were more confident. Of course they were! They had developed into a winning machine. This is still a new team. Will take months to build that belief to those levels.
But we've won 4-1 away. You don't have to be brilliant every week. You just need to be effective.
