I'd have liked him to have been trialled in the 10 (or played on the right and Egeli in the 10) but I think it would be madness to take Nunez out of there now.

He has played well in recent games but just to be clear, this is 5 goals which are:
2 penalties (expected)
one through the Sheffield united keepers legs in a 1:1 which if we are honest would have been a much safer and better finish either side of the keeper
2 open goals.
I know he has to have good positioning etc. and none of those goals are a given but all 5 of them would have been very bad to miss. [Post edited 3 Nov 2025 15:36]

I think enjoy his impact. It's been very effective, it's working against almost all the teams and I don't see why we need to change it, until Philo gets injured/has a poor run of form. |  |

excellent positioning and being ice cold when a chance (whether from 2 yards or 12) presents itself is a surprisingly rare combination at this level (even hirst should arguably be in double figures by now if he had the same form) | |

Hes more effective at home than away.
JC is also more effective off the bench than him imho | |
