I think you are right. If you look at his career history, he likes new challenges every 3 or 4 years and your thoughts fit that.
No issue from my point of view. However Sam moves his career forward - good for him. It was a privilege to see him play here. [Post edited 12 Nov 18:34]

And he would be the perfect back up for Azor.
Even though he'd have something to offer. You have to wonder how it would affect the dressing room dynamic, now.
