I think it is a big risk for him personally. *If* his family are happy, moving is a big risk. We are in general a patient lot with a great squad and with a great training facility on its way. Moving to Glasgow could easily go wrong. [Post edited 12 Nov 16:23]

I would like to think a CEO of a Premier League football club will be well aware of the challenge of making a club competitive in the Premier League after back to back promotions from League 1 and not hold that against him. Its not blue tinted specs, make no mistake about it his stock is still incredibly high. It was before he joined us and his achievements speak for themselves. He's one of the brightest young British managers.

There's zero chance he's going there. I don't think betting markets usually tell us a lot but when someone goes from odds on to 20/1 it's fairly clear that talks had not been planned for a future date. There would be plenty of money driving those odds back down. | |
