He does, FB. He’s one of those that is the bedrock of the club and actually a reason I’d like to have kept Chaplin in addition to him being a damn fine player.

I am pleasantly surprised Davis has stayed but it goes to prove yet again that not everyone is the same and not every player is just chasing the £.

Not sure about him as captain, but then I don’t know him. Maybe in the future?

Very level headed too. He doesn’t seem to get too up or down. Even when he scores his celebrations are a bit muted, although part of that is he also looks like he’s just enjoying a breather. The guy’s got hell of an engine on him. Seeing their run stats would be fascinating and I’d be very surprised if Leif isn’t up the top somewhere.
