Just seen Farke getting upset about Donnarumma going down so the City players could go and receive instructions from Guardiola
We used to do that almost every match without fail. Like clockwork Chappers would go down on the 20min mark and we'd come back having tweaked things to cope with the opposition
Why doesn't that happen anymore? It genuinely seemed like a big part of our game at the time

Donnarumma's "injury" on 22:29 - Nov 29 with 792 views
Understand his frustration with the rule but you obviously can't make the keeper go off for 30 seconds.
For me the only solution is when a player is down injured players must remain in there positions and a team meeting can't be held on the sidelines.
Only issue is this doesn't resolve when it happens for time wasting reasons. Is there maybe a solution of the keeper needs treatment he has to be subbed for sub keeper for a period of time or something. Sounds ridiculous but can't think of any other way of stopping this happening?
I wish Farke would have made a comment about the 115 charges of cheating. It was all set up for him. Could have gone with a “this behavior from this club is not a surprise seeing as their success is built on cheating.” He’s going to be sacked soon anyway so why not go down with a jab at the biggest joke in all of football.

There are multiple possible solutions. Another would be to make an outfield player (the captain would be an obvious choice or a player of the referee's choosing nearest to the side line) is made to go off instead. I just think time wasting/breaking up play/tactical stoppages isn't something those who make and apply the rules are serious about stopping.
