Prisoner 951 11:24 - Dec 1 with 366 viewsRyorry

Anyone else been watching this BBC drama?

Bloody hell, tough watch at times, but worth it. Followed events at the time, but had no idea of so much of the background or what she and her family went through.

Her/their pain very much compounded by the UK government of the time of course. One of her fellow prisoner’s comments on seeing Johnson on TV - “does anyone take him seriously? He looks as though he’s been dragged through a bush”.

I watched it right through on Iplayer. Was a very good watch. The only thing, to me, was that certain parts were dramatised or imagined, which could have skewed the facts a bit. Still really enjoyed it though.

Finished watching yesterday evening. The FO and government in general don’t seem to have handled the situation well at all, although as the other poster pointed out there might well have been ‘some dramatic license’ as well.
Addictive drama nonetheless.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
