What's the best bar of chololate? on 07:09 - Dec 2 by Nthsuffolkblue
From the fridge is good but fruit and nut is better than plain dairy milk.
Isn't it great that we all have different tastes! Makes the world so much more interesting.
Fruit in chocolate is just plain wrong. I asked one of my daughters to pick me up a bar of whole nut and she came back with fruit and nut. I have left her out of my will.

Gonna go toblerone. Although feels like a bit of a luxury and not an 'everyday' chocolate bar
I was looking for this answer, can't believe it took so long to get a mention.
Toblerone is king. And whilst there has been some shrinkflation via larger gaps between the triangles, I'm pretty sure the recipe has stayed the same as long as I've been eating them, unlike many other common favourites.

Personally I believe you deserve to spend the rest of your life destitute for liking nuts in chocolate.
I agree the fruit thing is a little odd though. Mind you, there was a fruit version of Club biscuits which was good. Club biscuits used to be nice with a whopping coating of chocolate and a decent size. Not now. The bars look minuscule and I gather they're lightly covered in a chocolate substitute. Shan’t be bothering with those.
I notice wagon wheels and curly wurlys haven’t featured. Rightly so. The former (not a proper choc bar) was a disgusting mess coated in cheap chocolate and the second was a bar of air with a little toffee and chocolate strands in it. Good for breaking your teeth on a cold day but a lot of effort for not a lot.

when you say "Isn't it great that we all have different tastes! Makes the world so much more interesting" it also shows there are some right weirdos out there

Wagon Wheel's were disgraceful. I remember a purple wrapper one coming out briefly, can't remember what was different about it compared to the red one but it was equally as unenjoyable. I have memories of some scantily clad Wagon Wheel rep girls walking around the pitch pre match at PR in the 90's, tossing those (then new) short lived purple Wagon Wheels in to the crowd.

If I ever got a Club Biscuit in my packed lunch at school i would eat all the chocolate off of it and bin the biscuit.

The best use for a Curley Wurley is melted and mixed with double cream to make the most glorious hot sauce for churros or profiteroles.
Your arteries will thank you for the exercise.
It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
When you get the the station after a night game, none of the cafes are open, so I have to resort to queuing at the vending machines on the platform.
As I tend to be starving, I get myself two Picnics (which along with a Lions bar) are probably my favourite, although it's a long time since I bought them in a shop.

Lightweight Linda 90% dark chocolate
Whilst visiting North Walsham (don't ask...) I parked up in Sainsbury's and as a thank you for free parking I went in and bought a bar of their Ugandan 90% cocoa chocolate but I think it is just too high up on the cocoa to other ingredients scale and loses a bit of tastefulness as a result. I would guess the Lindt would be the same and I seem to recall it isn't single origin.

I nearly fell over last time I went to the vending machine at a train station, a 500ml bottle of Pepsi was about £4.

Kit Kat Chunky
Used to be partial to a Topic when getting petrol but you don't see them anymore.

I once had a Kitkat Chunky where something must have gone wrong on the production line because the wafer was missing so it was pure chocolate. Best. Thing. Ever.
