Agreed - so many fans still have their rose tinted glasses on, and they appear to be superglued on for life - £200m+ splashed on what - average championship players

What do you define as 'week in, week out', though? Up until the last two matches, we have been 2nd in the form table, recently.

Granted, we are picking up lots of those points on the road, but it really isn't that long we have been 'enduring' terrible performances, is it?

Edit: in this league. The Prem shouldn't really count for much, we know we went up way too early

Not a knocker normally but are we getting worse , individual errors have definitely gone upwards , is it a confidence thing with constant changes to the line up !

If we’re ‘building for the prem’ and look like this in the championship, is that a project which is succeeding or not?

I see your point, we haven't recruited brilliantly as things pan out, but we have had to rotate due to 3 games in 7 days.

I didn't like this set up, personally, I feel it is pretty weak, but glad of the half time sub, as it shows that KMcK is not happy so far.

Make up your mind. Is it the managers fault or is he working with 'average championship players'?

McKenna is only still in his job now because of what he achieved 19 months ago & over the 18 months that preceded that (which of course was hugely impressive), because any objective analysis of his time here since then, would have to acknowledge that he has underachieved & been tactically unimpressive over that time, while spending over £150m on transfers.

Probably earned a bit of credit with the back to back promotions

things do need to start improving - because at the minute it is the same slow performances, no chances being created, errors in defence

Unfortunately you just cannot keep making excuses for them. They look so disjointed. They haven't been a team all season. Yes they get the odd win or draw and are the top half of the table. But a lot has to do with many of the teams in this league being dross. So many players not contributing. They say the right things but don't do them. Before the current team when we were in Division One and the Championship you knew the players put themselves on the line. They all fought for each other. Can we really say this is happening this season.
Five forwards with two goals between them on £30,000 a week. I don't know what the answer is. But then I'm not paid a few million quid a year.

Still has some credit in the bank for me but he's spending it pretty fast.

Few weeks ago I'd say that you'd be insane to want him out, now I don't want him out, but I'm no longer someone who is diehard McKenna in.

If we're mid-table in come start of January window with many more performances like this, then I might change my mind, but lets wait and see where we are.
