Was kind of embarrassing, the guy went down like he had no muscles in his body and has some serious weakness in his limbs. |
I'd be embarrassed as a fan, calling for a foul there. Matusiwa tapped him on the shoulder, and said "excuse me, I'd like the ball please", and he collapsed like a pack of cards.

Long way out and Davis was getting back, not sure you can give a red for that. Also possibly the softest free kick the ref has given all half, been several instances of more contact than that which he's not given. |  |

Should be a booking for simulation for their player but once he'd given it I feared the worst there. Think Davis was just close enough that the ref couldn't definitively say he wouldn't have got there. |  |

The ref appeared to be reluctant to give the foul (although he seemed slow to give any decision and gave some strange advantages where teams would have wanted the free lick instead). As soon as he gave the free kick I knew it would be a red card as well. I think it was his reluctance to give what was a soft free kick that saw him then decide that Davis covering was enough to give a yellow instead of the red.
