It's frustrating watching us - slow, ponderous, crap at playing it out. Tonight I thought longingly for that Championship team from last time. Woolfy, Chappers, Burns, Broady, Harry Clarke and Morsy and Luongo. It would beat this current lot hands down. |  |

I agree. Akpom is a total waster, hope to see him sent back on January 1st. Mcateer had one of his better games today but it's a low bar. Ashley Young is proving a failure on the pitch and presumably off it too given the absolutely stinking attitude of the team.
Then you've got overpaid duds like Jack Clarke and Jacob Greaves.

I don't thnk McAteer is lightweight, he has reasonable athleticism
He is clearly lacking confidence and he still hasn't found his feet, there's some signs of talent but we need to see more of it

I agree in the sense that our number 9 consistently struggles, which is a system problem, but he is also just a very lightweight and ineffective player who floats through games making no impact whatsoever. he's done nothing since joining the club despite getting chance after chance. I'd be genuinely amazed if he is kept around beyond Jan he's been a total dud. [Post edited 2 Dec 22:08]
