Big profit incoming. Let's hope it's not for a few seasons. We'll need to go up either this season or next to keep him. Still lots to learn but you can just see he's going to be a premiership footballer.

He does have something extra, but a long way to go for him still though.

But yes, he’ll already be on lots on watch lists no doubt.

He’s improving all the time but we aren’t at that stage or even close. Think of Omari in the champ last time last 10-15 games was ridiculous, nowhere near that level yet.

The OP was talking end of year or possibly end of next season. So no, not at that stage.

He's a huge talent. He just has elite contact on a football and fantastic touch, control, footballing brain. He really does remind me a bit of De Bruyne how manipulates a football.

I think he's probably sneaking past what we paid for him already now. I don't really want to think about it in those terms though as would love to see him play for us for years!

Nice goal today, some other nice bits including beating the CB at the end, holding it up and laying it off, but the thing that stands out for me in a way - that illustrates the calmness on top of his physical and skill assets that mark him out as a star in the making - was the clam lay off ahead of Davis in the phase just before he scored.

Ice cold judgement, when he could have blazed that into a defender or over.

Yes, the boy is mentally rock solid and his decision making is getting noticeably better as he gets up to speed. He's going all the way.

Agreed but also look where Omari was at this stage of his first season with us. Sindre in my opinion is further forward.

Lots for him to work on still. But very glad he is finding the back of the net now and not snatching at as many shots.

Want to see him be more of a threat when carrying the ball but plenty of time.

A completely normal position to take as a Championship club. Not sure why the need to come across as a bit critical.

He's lightyears ahead of Omari at the same stage, and physically, he's monstrous too.

If he can keep injury free as he matures, he could be a generational talent.

Yeah and to think some Walle described him as an average player we’ve signed. Even if he’s still fairly raw, he clearly isn’t average ability wise.

It’s also how he reads the game. He knows exactly where to be and what to do before anything’s even happened. So far, he’s just fallen a bit short on execution at times, but he’s ahead of most of our squad in his head already. And you can see his confidence growing by the month. He’s going to be a star.

I couldn’t go today and only seen the highlights from B’burn but I’ve seen him close up this season. Nailed on Premier League player. He’s a more complete footballer, or will be, than Omari in a lot of ways. He’s further ahead in their relative ITFC career.

If he’s fit, play him KM. I always thought once he got a goal and settled in he would be an opposition nightmare. Lots to come from him.

As a signing, the first time I saw him I thought he was certain to either make this club a lot of money and/or benefit it on the field - like no player I’ve seen in a very long time.

Well done Egeli for two goals in a week.

Another on the team sheet first when fit is Nunez. Yes, I know he can be a bit wild and wasteful with passing and shooting, but what a player and what a character. Great dead ball specialist and can be a sublime passer. That lay on for Hirst was inch perfect.

But most of all his first thought every time he gets the ball is forwards with it and at pace. Terrific player. No wonder our friends up the road are chewing on life’s gristle after letting him go.

I remarked the same to Mr Hugoagogo at the time. His vision, movement and decision-making is so, so good for a 19 year-old. He has so much composure. Yes, he does make bad decisions from time to time, but I also value his risk-taking, as if he executes it correctly, he is unplayable. Lots to learn, for sure, but so much to love, too.

If he continues to improve at the same rate for the rest of the season( which I think he will) we're going to struggle to keep hold of him unless we get promoted which luckily I think we will

I've certainly never laid the 'awful' tag at his door. Inconsistent? Yes. Finding his feet in a new country and higher league? Absolutely. I'm personally thrilled at his progress so far. He looks more comfortable with every match.

Haha, I actually thought he struggled first half today before the goal.

Anyone who has watched his entire body of work at ITFC so far knows the kid has it and is improving while getting up to speed, he could be a frightening talent in his early 20s.

Already seen some incredible bits of skill, cross field pings and that set up for Hirst at QPR was really good. Now add two excellent composed finishes in 5 days. I’m so glad we pulled the trigger on him, we seemed to take ages mulling it over. For me it’s these risk reward ones I can excuse if it doesn’t go well, it’s few of the others that are the head scratchers!

Beautiful goal today from that central 10 position that he helped create. Would love to see him there a bit more now he has a few games under his belt. Someone will pay big money for that De Bruyne type of player.
