Nothing wrong with keeping half an eye on ex-players. That’s part of the appeal of footie if you’ve got interest with other players/teams, etc, imo.
He seems a bit unlucky so far this season. A good player, but still has a lot of learning to do to be a great player/team player. He could be a real asset for England in the future if he’s managed well. |  |

I said when he left that he wouldn’t score as many Prem goals for Chelsea this season as he did for us last season.
Having said that I wish him a speedy recovery from this latest injury.
