I'm no dietician but... 06:26 - Dec 22 with 828 viewsgtsb1966

I think you may have lost the plot Pep. Nobody is going to put on 3 kilos in 4 days and especially not a professional footballer. The days of having Fatty Foulke in goal ( look him up) are long gone.

I'm a vaguely serious runner. Watching weight very closely is a potentially slippery slope.

Being well fuelled, recovered and as fit as possible are much more important to maximise performance.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
Poll: At present who do you think you'll vote for?

I could put on 3kg in 4 days no problem, but it won't be fat, your body simply can't do it, full intestines, stomach and water retention...

Would my overeall fitness be worse, maybe, maybe not, would it affect my performance at the very top end of sport, more than likely.

I can weigh 1-2kgs different from day to day (I currently weigh 90kgs) depending on what my fluid and carb intake was like the day before, so if say Haaland was 3kgs more, then he's probably not looked after his diet that well over that period and for ££££ a week, it's part of the job.

Pep's not wrong, but he's treading a fine line too.
