So we're not talking about the women's match at Portman Road tomorrow? 13:24 - Mar 27 with 1823 viewsBeachBlue

Disappointed that it's barely been mentioned on TWTD.

Poll: If Saturday is Wes Burns last match for Ipswich will you?

I read them. My point is they seemed to be responding to the OP

Yes, and I called out those responses to the OP. I genuinely don't understand your point.

Inclusivity means exactly that across the board, not just the right of certain people who exist in an echo chamber to choose who’s allowed to join in.

no it doesn't? there are various reasons why an inclusive organisation/person would not extend that inclusivity to other parties/individuals. Be that for moral or legal reasons.

My point was you're accusing the responses of belittling the ITFC womens team, and went as far as implying some sort of sexism by linking it to the outrage around Farage's visit.

My point is that isn't necessarily a fair accusation of most when they're responding to a question asked by the OP, explaining its not of interest to them.

Oh absolutely - but it sucks that the Club aren’t promoting it like they normally would.

They’ve not even retweeted the tweets from the supporter services account. Or the foundation.

Downplaying the women's game is not separate at all - and several posters have done precisely that. Do you not see the irony in that?

Everyone has the right to decide if they go to the game to support the women's team of our club and community, but why not say nothing rather than try to belittle their efforts.

Fans of the men's game are not downplaying the importance of woman's football for the club and the community in this thread

They just aren't fans of it. Like maybe other sports too. They aren't saying because they don't like it or appreciate it that it shouldn't happen therefore undermining it.

Your initial post inferred there were dodgy racists over the past few days and now we have misogynists. It's so so boring.

This forum is made up of purity tests and gotcha moments and rarely are either applied correctly or needed.

Could it be because a lot of people just don’t care that much?

I dare say some don't. Pretty much as with everything in life including mens football and dare I say it, politics. Whatever, I'll be watching on WSL2 YT tomorrow and hoping the phoenix can keep rising!
