Anyone watch the QPR highlights from yesterday? 16:48 - Apr 26 with 1893 viewsIllinoisblue

They carved Derby open numerous times and should have scored six. But lost 3-2. Teams who can create and have nothing to play for can be dangerous. I don’t think a win next Saturday will be as straightforward as some think it will be. And imagine Milwall racing into an early 2-0 lead and how that nervousness will flood through the stands and on to the pitch. Oof.

Please for the love of god, let’s win Tuesday.

And what if it rains...and the wind is in the wrong direction...and it's a little bit cold and Philogene's gloves slow him down...and the concourse runs out of pies.

Can't we draw both games? Isn't it a bit... you know... um... entitled to want to win?

Let’s be honest, you couldn’t handpick a better opponent to pick for us - nothing to play for, no real axe to grind against us and somebody who we’ve beaten handily already this season.

Nothing is easy at this level and we may not get it done but it won’t be because we’ve been done in by the fixture list in that circumstance.

This. A home game to a team who are on the beach.

If you want Millwall to finish second then yeah.

Nothing wrong with some preemptive panicking!

Definitely more danger in that one than we faced vs Exeter or Hudds. They have good players back from injury and it only takes a worldie from Chair to change the picture. We should really still be ok but would love to get it done on Tuesday.

None of it will be straightforward unless we are bang on it. This is why I've stated numerous times we have to rest players for that Saturday.

Go all out for a win at Southampton but with a vastly changed 11 to the starting 11 for the following Sat. We can't afford to be knackered against QPR

I do think that the ‘beach’ comment doesn’t ring true - they tend to be highly competitive athletes who want to win regardless of time of year.

But, a team finishes in the league where they deserve to finish and we should beat QPR.

It’s also incredibly annoying the more it gets used about every team!

Derby had 3 shots on target and scored them all , QPR had 24 shots to Derby 12 but …..
……. we are not Derby and we’re at home, keep the faith .

You know this team are taking it down to the last 10 minutes regardless so just prepare yourself for that and you’ll be more at peace with it!

I’d be amazed if there is more than 1 goal margin in it, this is Ipswich Town 25/26!

The flip side of that of course is if we win Tuesday, QPR will be an irrelevance

From the little I’ve seen of them they can press quite aggressively, which can cause us problems. They’re a funny side. They’ve had some good runs and performances this season but they can’t sustain it, And who knows what their mindset will be like. Could be on the beach, could be wanting to finish on a high. It’s one we should be strong favourites for though,

QPR thumped Leeds for us in 24. Consider the irony of them winning a PR.
The lads beat Coventry twice when it mattered so I'm looking for a win on Tuesday night.

I really don't want this going to the last day! Who does!
This league loves to throw up some surprises, and all it takes is 4 teams all having a shot and a first 10 breakdown and we are against the wall.

Can't be naive and pre plan unfortunately, 2 cup finals, 2 must wins!

This is kind of how I feel about it. We really should be good enough to get it done, but its a funny old games Saint.
