He was one our few who stepped up to the Premier League, did okay, and we were then in a hurry to get him out of the door... then we held him up going home, as we didn't have our sh1t together going into the season. I think it was a FU to those involved at Ipswich, rather than the club in general. Unlike Hutch, he still played for us after we had in effect b ggered him about a bit on the Wrexham move, although his family online have implied he didn't want to be here for a while, which is sad but you get the impression from the end of 2024 we'd pretty much decided who wasn't going to play for us this season (and the rebuild).

I thought he was utterly out of his depth in the Premier League. Anyhow I have no idea what passed between him and the club. You clearly do so I’d be interested to know the factual details of what we, ITFC, did wrong. As for celebrating scoring? Good for him. I wish more players would do so. They represent their new club not us and should enjoy the moment. Doesn’t bother me in the least.
