Really good appointment in league 1 and if they get to the championship done good work at that level at times, but needs to learn some versatility ASAP

I thought his management of Southampton in the prem was diabolical, I assume it was as well at Rangers but I dont pay attention to Scottish football really.

Thought he did some decent work at MK Dons and Swansea but jumped ship too early at both of those jobs which didn't help his development as a young manager but he got Saints up. I wouldn't want him managing Ipswich but at league 1 level I dont think it's a bad appointment at all.
