It’s the other results that really are the cherry on top.
Seven matches today. Only us and Forest won. Arsenal leading. That’s four other matches that ended in a draw.
So we’d have picked up two points on 8 other teams and three points on another 3 sides. By the end of all the fixtures we’d have picked up points on at least 14 teams, potentially up to 17 teams.
That’s absolutely enormous. The PPG looks great, league position does. Early days but to have so many of the teams we’ll be fighting with draw today is a massive bonus that just tops off the result.
And let’s be honest. Ipswich winning at the death and Norwich losing at the death doesn’t leave much wiggle room to get better!

The win is wonderful but ….. on 21:56 - Sep 12 with 775 views
Two years ago we had the look of tourists in awe of the wonderful Premier League - happy to be there but woefully short of what was required.
Feels like we have learned and have bought players who have Prem experience and are not looking around in awe and wonder. As it is in the four games we havent yet put in a 'team' performance, but do seem to be learning how to play together - evidence in the way GoN hasnt tinkered too much with the starting XI
Hopefully the ridiculously long international break will enable us to be ready for key home games against Fulham Forest & Bournemouth and that trip up to Hull. Would like to think we are well in double figures by the November international break
