Hmmmm. The idea of a bar in Westfield is not appealing. There are a few places between Uxbridge Rd and the ground where they don't really care about the footie and if you're away, but I can't remember what any off the beaten track places are called.

I know. Found a nice place with a few lovely TWTDers and Steve M last time, he might be able to advice on what it was called. But generally I don't understand the love for Loftus Rd. It looks like a setting for the Bill on one side, Delboy's back yard on the other and the ground itself is a health and safety nightmare. Still wish I was going today though, unfortunately life gets in the way.

The one at the top of Berwick Street? That was a decent spit and sawdust work haunt but new owners in the mid nineties turned it into a "trendy" homogenised bar.

I love Loftus Road but somewhat perversely because as you say the area is only beaten on the utterly sh1t stakes by the ground itself, which is so tinpot it's like it's been done that way on purpose as a joke.

The places I'm thinking about may have been that side of Uxbridge Rd come to think of it. Recommendations?

Bit early for that sort of language! I would of course like all of TWTD to know you are indeed lovely too innit. But not a mod.

I'm not going either. Going to Asia next weekend for work for a week or so. Have stuff to do as a result. No better feeling than a few beers in London and the rollercoaster of following the Towen.

not a hope in hell of getting in there (westerf) we tried the pub in there at 8pm in evening last year and the door staff said no football fans, even at that time. qpr is sht for pubs, brewdog or something we went in last year pre match, they didn't allow singing. then across the road got chucked out for dancing..... I mean come on

That's where we ended up pre and post game. Decent boozer and no problems if you're not an arse.
