Mick to Barnsley would be fairly ideal really.

I can see it and would wish him well. Maybe his pragmatic nature would stop him from doing so in case he didn't trust Barnsley fans not to turn on him. See also: Jim Magilton.

I’d thank the man for his efforts and wish him well at his hometown club.

No, not at the moment

He would be a great fit for them. Benefits all parties.

I just doubt Mick would fit in with the 'money-ball' system that they've got going on now.

Also worth noting, the new deal that Heckingbottom did sign last week was a 12 month rolling contract. Wonder if Mick would even take something like that?

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

As has been said on other threads on the subject....

There's no way Mick will go to Barnsley - their new owners are planning to use the money-ball strategy, so the manager will not have full control over footballing matters.

Unfortunately, I can't see Mick going for that at all.

Maybe in 2 years after he completes his next contract here.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Leeds fans always take over Dereham ahead of away games at Norwich for some reason as well.

That's really odd. Must be a northern thing.

I remember back in the day, dozens of Town fans would meet up in a pub near Dudley whenever we were playing in the midlands. We new it as Ma Pardoe's or if memory serves, The Dirty Duck. I think it was called The White Swan. Two old ladies ran it and they used to bring out home brewed beer in white enamel jugs. Sadly, one of the old girls passed away and the son took over and turned it into a trendy pub which killed it for us. As for Barnsley fans, I had a great day out with them on the way to Wembley. On the train down, on the underground and in the pub before the game, it was nearly all red shirts apart from my one blue shirt. What a great set of lads and lasses. We had a great day out and I still watch out for their results. TWTD
