The old capacity of 22,000 would have required 7,333 to be a third full. We never went that low did we? Thought Stockport was 8,500 or something.
We are now at 30,000. Conceivable we could see under 10,000 next season (probably not this year as they’ll count season tickets). | |

You know I was just thinking the exact same thing regarding previous low crowds relative to the old capacity.
If nothing else it's a commercial shambles to have only a third of the ground generating any matchday revenue.
It's sad to think that not long ago the ground was redeveloped because the belief was there that we could attract 28k home fans with a decent team. We couldn't even pull that for the local derby now. | | | |
