I'm fully behind Paul Hurst so let's see who he brings in. it will be interesting who he can attract with the experience he has had. A totally different proposition to MM

In terms of lower-division/non-League players, it may not be so different to McCarthy. And I mean that in a good way. Hurst is even more likely to have his ear to the ground on who is up and coming. May know of men his teams have directly played against.

Where it might be different is whether he can attract the high-class loans from Prem clubs (e.g. Fraser, Lawrence, Carter-Vickers).

where would he fit in with who we have already when fit

Really want the Bart situation resolved now. either sign or go so we can get someone in. Dean Henderson seems very competent and confident if he does go

You are probably right and the positive from that is that we would probably be able to sign the player PH finds rather than the Premiership players we can only afford to loan short term

Hopefully, his first meaningful act will be to get Bart and Jonas to sign new deals. As things stand our squad, as so often at this time of year, looks painfully thin. So plenty of work for him to do.

Looks very light in a few areas. Happy enough with centre midfield options if everyone is fit, goalkeeping is fine, but we need reinforcements in every other area IMVHO. A lot will depend on how Hurst sets up, for instance if we continue with 3 at the back we will need another left wing back and another CB. Our first team looks good but the back up is principally unknown quantities of youth.

Don't think age is that important

how old is Ronaldo?

There's plenty of younger players that aren't as good as Skuse

Jonas can do a job at LCH we have seen that or LB
Perhaps Nsiala would slot into a back 3

o think without injuries our squad isn't too bad so unless our injuries improve we do need some for new players in

You missed out Spence and Rowe. A good centre half and a couple of wingers and I like the look of our squad

Considering we don't have many wingers and he scored 12 goals last season he could be a good cheap option.
