That's about as bad a draw as we could have got realistically. 11:08 - Jun 15 with 2162 viewsitfcjoe

Such a long trip, that we'll almost lose the weeks training from it when Hurst will be trying to get his ideas across.

Depends really. If we get Bristol City away the Saturday before they may just stay down there and Monday would be a rest day anyway or light training. Obviously if it comes between Middlesbrough away and a home game then it's not ideal.

At least it's winnable.

I assume we'd travel on the Monday and train down that way somewhere in the afternoon.
Light training Tuesday morning, then coach home after the game, return to training Thursday and then as normal on Friday.

We knew the 1st round of the cup was that week and there was a 50-50 chance it would be away, potentially to someone that would require an overnight stay.

You’re right, it depends on if the 1/46 chance of a specific fixture happening, happens.

Depends really.

Presumably they'll fly there and back? So I doubt it'll be too much different to anything else.

Fly Monday afternoon, stay over, fly back straight after the game.

Probably can't fly back after the game - unless Exeter airport can stay open late enough.
