I'm pretty confused about this really. I like chips and I like lasagna- but the thought of potato carb with pasta carb seems almost criminal.
In a world of people who genuinely believe it is gammon egg and chips not gammon egg and salad- I find myself once again being the minority in the right vs the world in the wrong.
I dunno... I don't see why this mix is such a common thing- hopefully when Brexit happens we will be able to separate our good ol Irish spuds from this foreign nonsense |  |

In the north they put chips with absolutely everything. The 1st time I bought a Chinese when I got to the end ofntheborder the person told me that they think i forgot to order chips. I replied that is don't want chips and they seemed confused. I am still regularly offered chips when I order a Chinese and I see plenty ordering them.
My company has an HQ in Farnborough but also an office that i visit near Doncaster, the Farnborough office rarely has chips in the restaurant but the Donny one has them very single time. I have never been there and not seen chips. They do 1 or 2 small individual salads whereas the Farnborough one had a big salad bar. |  |
