Chambers interview today in particular really hit home with me.
He didn't seem his usual self. Didn't appear happy at all.
Coupled with how he's performed this season, wonder if this could happen.
Do wonder If Chambers is happy being here now given how much the squad has changed.

I don't have an issue with anything Hurst has said.
If anything, I'd say players like Chambers could do with a wake up call. Under Mick he was guaranteed to play, even when he was in poor form. Whereas Hurst will happily take him out of the team if his performances dip, and rightly so.
I like Chambers and think he could be an important player this season, but it's about time he was put outside his comfort zone | |

I wouldn't be completely surprised if Chambers is on borrowed time with Hurst at the moment, not because of a lack of effort or passion but because he's not the ball-playing centre back that Hurst seems to prefer. If he can adjust then he'll stay, if he can't then I wouldn't be surprised if he's moved on next summer. | |

If Tilt comes in, Chambers will be dropped. I think we can say that's a certainty especially given how he's started the season. The highlight reel of Tilt looks great but it naturally doesn't showcase his weaknesses. His strengths however are impressive and he's much better on the ball than Chambers, and Hurst is clearly trying to improve ball retention all over the park. |  |
