Ahh but if the earth is round how does the water stay on? That is a genuine flat earther argument...*facepalm*

Plate. Not globe. A globe would be false clearly. A plate with a rim, to stop the water spilling over. So obvious now I've given it some thought.

Afraid you're as wrong as I am. It's actually walls of ice that stop the water falling off the side. Walls of ice guarded by those who don't want you to know the truth.

They don't believe in gravity hence it's easy for them to make such an idiotic argument. Their reasoning for the non-existence of gravity is something to behold. SB

I tried explaining that gravity acts towards the centre of the planet to an 11-year-old a while ago and she just couldn't get it, even with diagrams. This was a student in a high ability science group. All her friends were like it's obvious but she kept going round in circles with false thinking about gravity. I just couldn't get into the head of where her misconceptions lay. I like the graphic showing the solar system with all the planets and then the Earth as flat and "funny how nature sometimes does that!" On a similar note recently read "Graphic Science" by Daryl Cunningham. An excellent book that had a great introduction about acknowledging scientific evidence, questioning and critical thinking and the dangers of modern political and media denial of facts.
