I must admit my foot was in the out camp based on the fact it had gone stale and his relationship with the support was poor at the end. I however concede I was wrong and the man was actually working miracles with Evans restrictions to even keep us in the league. His football was absolutely loathed here, yet Hurst hasn't put together one performance half as good as anything Mick had done.
It's okay to admit we we were wrong and maybe the owner should have born the brunt of the stick for not backing Mick adequately in the transfer market instead.

The Mick from 2012-2016 was our best manager since Royle. Brought in players who saved THE CLUB, stabilized and challenged, got the best out of average players, it was a team but the football was largely naff based on what he was working with. The last year was really the pits, but having had our best players sold such as Mings and Murphy, not being able to sign key players long term such as Fraser and Lawrence and the constant chaos with the transfers and contracts leading to Leon Best getting a job here and Chambers nearly off, then not, was purely Evans and his admins fault. | |
