I did, it was a difficult harvest over there, poor yield sadly, so I got home sooner than planned. That said I am not going abroad again- I have a lot on my plate the next few years trying to keep getting distinctions on my degree. | |

At the moment I am working on software development for independent projects revolving around ZigBee networking (basically applications in Smart technology) - Though I am doing a degree in compute science at the same time.
I have family in the USA who are farmers and couldn't afford to hire help this year for the harvest as the yields were low, so I was a cheap hire to help drive a grain tipper. | |

I was working in Dodge City Kansas this year, as for ache-age, I don't actually know as they sold off a bunch of land last year and stopped dealing with livestock so its all arable now. I only worked the 3 fields closest to the ranch, which in comparison to an average UK field size is a little smaller, but easier to work as there are nowhere as near as many hedgerows | |
