They still are. That's what it means to be a fan.
Sadly it looks like we will supporting them in League1 next season.

Me too, I'm not that fussed if we go down.

We will still have a team and play football matches, and I'll support that team.

The sad fact is that our players and budget are more suited to being competitive in League 1.

The club is dying slowly in front of us though.

You think Evans will continue with the same budget?

We will have the budget to be competitive in League 1, more so than the Premier League 2

Do we have to have these melodramatic RIP posts after every loss?

We have a rubbish team but the club isn’t dying. Dry your eyes and get some perspective, not like you to be blubbing.

I think we’re on a competitive League One budget now. Surely Evans will cut this further with less revenue through the gates?

Unfortunately the results under Lambert are even worse than under Hurst. 0.13 points per game compared to 0.60 under Hurst. No wonder the Budgie fans refer to him as Agent Lambert. To add to the feeling of gloom a former Budgie forward scored both goals for Forest today. I don't see Evans splashing the cash in January either. We need more than a point per game from the remaining 26 games and it is looking less likely with each passing game.
Happy Christmas everyone.

It's not like the gates are huge, or the Champ revenue is massive.

The extra shortfall want have as big an impact as you might think.

Man up and grow a pair.

We’ve got to keep fighting and it’s not over yet.

It is not a 'shortfall' it will be a drastically lower income than we have now ie

£5.5m less TV money plus lower gate receipts

However a fair number (9) of players on Championship wages most likely will be gone - out of contract. As will 5 loanees.

The idea that we could continue with that level of expenditure whilst recieveing that much lower income therefore causing a shortfall is absurd.

I've suffered through miserable seasons with Town before. 94/95 sticks out, and yes we were only dropping to the Championship then. But Ipswich are family. I don't have a choice about loving them. They do make it hard sometimes though...

There was a geezer on the radio who had being going since 59 and he said he'd never seen us in the FA Cup first round draw, poor old sod sounded on the verge of tears. The last time we were in a bad state as we are now The Beatles were still playing in Hamburg.

No worries. We need to get behind them.
