A stronger attack will take some of the pressure off, score goals to cancel out any we may concede and improve our chances of winning games no end. I'm pretty sure the 'form' of our CBs and 'keepers will markedly improve if we can get things working better up front. |  |

It is an awful lot of pressure on a defence if it knows they need a clean sheet to get a point away from home and cannot concede more than one to stand any chance of points at home. |  |

Quaner was being played out wide in the Prem at Huddersfield recently. Might not be his best position. Has some good tallies as a striker in the German second tier, tho.

I agree that less pressure on our defence will help but we need a stronger centre half pairing than Pennington and Chambers. Think Pennington needs time out and someone more dominant needs to be brought in. |  | | |

With an experienced manager like MM or PL it is fair enough for Evans to trust their judgment on the make up of the squad, but as has been shown with Hurst, that an inexperienced manager at this level can very quickly mess things up.
An old head above him and below Evans would probably have prevented what happened in the summer.
If we are very very lucky, we can catch Bolton, Rotherham and Reading, but other than those 3 and possibly Wigan, the rest are gone.
We need to stop conceding easy goals though and that means another defender or 2 joining ASAP, one of which has to be a right back and the other a CCV type centre half | | | |
