Just looked at the table 12:31 - Jan 19 with 2042 views | tractordownsouth | And realised we've only scored in 4 of our 13 away games so far this season. This isn't to put a dampener on things, just expressing my surprise.

Just looked at the table on 12:40 - Jan 19 with 1995 views | Steve_M | Yep, and the two goals at Reading are the only ones we've scored since we won at Swansea at the start of October. Definitely need to change that today. I guess those goals have been fairly valuable as we have five points from those matches.....

You are right, we are having more blanks away from home since Hurst.

Only if you include Millwall, under Klug as caretaker, which is hardly reasonable to lump in with Lambert's tenure. Otherwise it's the same number (4), but from fewer games (5 rather than 7).

We've only scored two away under Lambert, both at Reading.

Saw we've had 8 away goals in 13 games. I remembered we got 3 goals against Swansea, two each against Birmingham and Reading and one at Sheff W.

Don’t you just love facts? There we were getting all excited and then the truth comes along to kick is in the bollox (or lady garden for those with no cajones). Bottom line: we’re not very good. Paul’s overdrive on fan PR is all well and good (it is good, a refreshing change to Miserable Mick). But ultimately has minimal impact on results when we keep being crap. The crowd can only help so far and they can’t stop poor players making mistakes.
