Yes. It's now a certain loss over a rolling three-year period. Plus the penalties have been tightened up and are being enforced (mainly transfer bans or restrictions, tho points deductions can also be made).

I thought there was also some clause regarding recently signed players whereby some of the wages didnt count otherwise every team relegated would be penalised as they are not always able to shift a player on high wages .

Since we are allowed to lose £13m a year in Championship, and after allowable expenditure, we are currently losing less than half the allowable amount. We can keep within FFP for a. Couple of years before we are in danger of a breach.

For teams relegated to L1, I'm pretty sure there is some leeway initially.

It's 75% for sides relegated from the Championship for a season or two which would put us at an advantage Presumably our turnover would be one of the highest in that league also? The club really have to get season ticket prices this summer, we desperately need respectable crowds if we are to have any real advantage compared to the rest

It's £39m over three years, on a rolling basis. So if, say, we lost £5m and £4m, then the following season we could theoretically run up losses of £30m without falling foul. Would have to be very careful for the two years after that, tho, as that figure would still be part of the calculation.
