I make Bolton and QPR at home this season worse than that. More recently the Sheffield Wednesday game too. Rotherham and Wigan were horrendous but we came out on the right side in those ones so they weren't totally awful. | |

Wigan at home a couple of years ago tops that one for me.
0-0 at home against a side who had lost X amount on the bounce away from home.. and we played with one up front (Noel Hunt) and kept lumping the ball onto the forehead of their big centre halves for 90 minutes.
Pretty sure we have a midfield of Skuse, Hyam and Douglas that day as well. |  | | |

There have been so many in recent seasons including that one. Two standouts for me are a couple of games against Sheffield Wednesday. One before McCarthys arrival where the players gave up (3-0, could have been 10) and in the mid-early 90s when Carlton Palmer waltzed through the whole team to make it 4-0. Carlton Palmer, for goodness sake! A cherished memory of horror was a 2-0 defeat to Stockport in the 80s under Duncan. |  | | |

There have been some shockers (Hull away, QPR Home).. But for my money the worst 90 minutes I've endured in recent times is still Wigan at home 0-0 Everything about that day was dire.
