Just watching Britain's most evil serial killers on TV and it was the Ipswich Steve Wright case and it was DNA that caught him. Surely the time has come when everyone's DNA should be recorded. DNA evidence, like fingerprinting, psychological profiling and forensic pathology is not the legal panacea you're making it out to be. It's very simplistic to say 'it caught Steve Wright', there'a all sorts of other factors to rule out. Like with the above.

I think you mean 'solved in an instant', consider though what you would do if you wanted to commit a crime and knew that it could be pinned on someone else in an instant just by planting their DNA in the right place... |  |
