Not reaWe were told that from January that they were looking at two scenario's. One, if we stayed in the Championship and Two, if we got relegated. As things moved on it became more and more obvious that relegation was certain. We were then told that the squad was too big, but that targets had been made regarding replacements and strengthening. What we have is one decent striker, one goalie who now looks like a replacement for Gerken and another goalie who's been reject by another club, but may come through the system. Not exactly targets are they ? Yes, Norwood will probably be a decent signing, but we are relying on youths, injured players and some that haven't shown much form since arriving. I honestly would have expected three signings, excepting two goalies and two loan players.

If we are only going with one more striker I reckon we need more of a target man than Washington. We're not exactly blessed with the tallest strike force as things stand.

Still expect to see Callum Elder back. Think Leicester may hold out to see if they can sell permanently. Then that will be it probably.
We can’t be looking too hard for a striker, as a good a understudy as you will realistically ever find is off to play in the fecking Scottish League.
