Even if you're not a fan of her music but like political/historical stuff - there's an excellent documentary on her on BBC iPlayer.

Watched it last night and was stunned. I know her music but didn't even know she was a refugee, and this documentary (filmed mostly by herself over the years, from living in a war zone to becoming a star) is thoroughly engaging.

We were transfixed for the full hour and a half. Highly recommended.
