125no against the Aussies under the most testing of situations not just the magnitude of the game but his own form and technique was put into question and he produces an innings like that, terrific stuff! Also, I felt Denly looked decent at the crease too (from what I saw), would have liked to have seen him get a few more runs, perhaps our batting options aren't as bad as we first thought?

Yep, a massive and well deserved 100 both in the context of the match and the series - it was such a tense watch through the 90s.

One of my best mates from school lived with Burns’ brother for a couple of years and is good mates - I can’t imagine how tense it was for them watching it!
