That's a shame but understandable from his perspective

shows how far we have fallen when Luton is more attractive

Guessing they can afford his wages and we cannot

They’ve also signed Izzy Brown on loan.

Annoyed about this.

Would have been good for him to come in as he knows most of the players already.

I don’t think he’s ‘gash’, either.

I found him to be a calming and calculated player.

I sensed he could offer more but was just playing to the same level as his teammates.

I’m surprised to see him dropping down to L1 level.

Poll: W or W

Luton are in the Championship.

Yes, was meant to say he wouldn’t drop down to L1 level. Honest.

Utterly bang average whilst here last season. Apparently earning circa 20-25k, and quite honestly we could get away with Emmanuel over those wages in this league.

No better in what e showed whilst on loan here for his salary.

Will be about playing in the championship not wages. Not in Villas or Brees interest to drop to l1

He was rumoured to be on quite a big wage last season , not sure how much of that Luton could afford. As others have said he would not be keen to drop to L1 .

I think this comes back to what Lee O'Neil was getting at in his interview. It's not necessarily just finances that are stopping getting deals done (though in Bree's case I expect it would have been a factor if we were interested). The fact is we are now a League 1 club and so we are automatically a less attractive proposition than any side in the two divisions above for many players. It's not easy to persuade decent players to drop down to the third tier. The transfer window closing for the top 2 tiers may help in that some players now have fewer options, although I believe free agents can still sign for anyone and Championship sides have a few more weeks to do loan deals.

Why would we want another loan?

Better than Donacien and Emmanuel, that's for sure.
