"Stunts" is an appropriate word.
Nowadays, far too much seems to be a stunt to position themselves and distract from the job they are elected to do that they are actually ignoring.

I would like to imagine that if this was the other way round we would not allow the woman to claim diplomatic immunity. This was not the reason the rule exists and would we want someone with probably scant regard for driving regulations roaming free with abandon in our own country having been involved in something like it without facing investigation? |  |
