Tabletop cooler spares/repairs 14:50 - Oct 28 with 737 views | Bent_double | Sorry people, bit of a boring one, but thought I'd see if someone on here could help. Got a Russell Hobbs tabletop cooler (small 'fridge' in other words) that went 'pop' when I switched it on a few days ago. Being the resourceful type, not wanting to just dump it at the local recycling centre, I thought I'd try and fix it, but can't find anywhere on-line that sells the internal parts. There's just a circuit board and fan inside when you open up the back. I called the product helpline, but they don't supply those parts, they suggested espares, partmaster, ebay, but none of them stock either part. A new one is £75, so no big deal (it's a business expense anyway), but I find it really annoying that I can't just replace a simple, cheap part rather than dumping the whole thing. Anyone got any ideas?

Not for me, I put them in the guests' bedrooms.

A quick investigation showed some faulty little plastic valve thing that a small child could replace, so I called them to ask for a part. They sent a whole new machine that I neither wanted not needed. I used that for years and still have the other one, brand new in its box still need ing that tiny part to work. Thing is they change those models on a fecking daily basis it seems and the parts are never available. Absolute waste of resources.
