It is ridiculous to think he might never play in the Prem.

I must say, although I appreciate he's a good footballer, he's not so good that the idea of him never playing at the top level is baffling.

In my opinion anyway.

That bit of skill where he held it up on halfway with what seemed the whole qpr team around him and still found a town player was ridiculous.

He has the ability for sure, he is slowly getting back to his best

I don't think he is quite at the level he was a few seasons ago mind you

If he makes the Prem, it will probably be with us?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

He looks much slower than he was before injuries, although I guess that is always likely. He doesn't look like a Premier League player any more to me for that reason. Still very good for us and had a very good game today, despite some errant finishing.

Well seeing as he's quite overrated and not good enough for the prem...

Nah.

Slowly getting back to the swing of games after such a long lay off, touch/skill always good but shooting woeful at the moment. Time to sparkle for us before any Premiership times on the bench,

Basically, putting aside the subs, cost us the game by missing a good chance just before they scored.

His finishing is nowhere near good enough for the prem

Look he's a reasonable championship player.

He is quality. Holds on to the ball far too long tho to be a prem regular IMO

We’ll be good again... one day

Unfortunately he looks good because most around him are at best mediocre.
It would be good to see what he could do when in a class team with class team mates.

Agree, I think he has the best feet in the championship but it's a pretty big gulf in attacking quality. Even the worst teams have excellent quality going forwards.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

great in his first season where he got in the goal mix, like others say, he doesn't score enough though. His touch, skill, ability are amazing but a striker who doesn't score is not what we need.

I'm going to say it and probably upset a few but he is a poor mans Pablo Counago.

He is greedy enough to be in the Premier league, like others have noticed, he takes to long at times to lay off as is looking to do more than what he needs to himself first rather than looking for others immediatly to lay off too in better positons. He needs more give and go to be Premier Class which he doesn't have.

If you had an offspring of McGoldrick and Pitman, now their would be a finished article.

I remember lots saying that Cresswell and Walters would never make the step up

I really rate Didz, but the attacking quality in the Prem is excellent so I don't think it's ridiculous, especially given his injury record.

He probably would be if he hadn't had his string of injuries, plus he lacks a yard of pace, so not that ridiculous

Why won't he? Do you really think he will leave us at the end of the season having single handedly dragged us up?

Shame it wasn't with us but so pleased for the player, shame it came so late
