Pre match warm ups 07:17 - Dec 27 with 750 viewsb1079blue

Being a coaching geek I enjoy watching warm ups. From my point of view the players body language is all wrong, there is a complete lack of intensity, sense of purpose and loads of standing around doing keepy ups. Also seems to be loads of tracksuits not contributing. As an opposing coach I would certainly fancy my chances.
Best pre match warm ups I ever saw were the New England patriots who were playing away, every player came out and walked down the half way line marking there territory.

What I don't understand is why clubs don't bring their players out a couple of minutes before the 2nd half is due to start. Then they can do some running to get their heart rates up to optimum. Very often, we start the second half sluggishly.
